Social Value UK welcomes Keystone Accountability as organisational members

Social Value UK welcomes Keystone Accountability as organisational members

Posted 2nd September 2016

Keystone Accountability is a not-for- profit organisation that helps social change organisations understand and improve their performance by harnessing feedback, especially from the people they serve.

Keystone Accountability helps organisations improve their social performance by harnessing feedback especially from the people they serve. They have developed a methodology called Constituent Voice™ (CV) providing a way to measure progress against outcomes while fostering trust between implementers and those meant to benefit. It provides a constant stream of feedback data that can be used to improve performance. This quantifiable and comparative data is used as the basis for learning dialogues, relationship building, and course correction to improve performance. The CV method shows how to combine feedback data with other evidence of impact to get a more complete impact narrative.

Keystone Accountability is working with diverse partners ranging from the largest international donors through to small community based service providers. Their work is in line with the Principles of Social Value in particular involving stakeholders, as they  consider CV a comprehensive approach to stakeholder engagement. Keystone Accountability are looking forward to collaborating with us on a webinar for members in September to discuss how their work integrates with that of Social Value UK and to introduce their new online tool for collecting and benchmarking feedback, the Feedback Commons. You can book on to the webinar here.

Chief Executive of Keystone Accountability David Bonbright said: “Like Social Value UK we believe in measuring and maximising value from the perspective of those affected by an organisation’s activities. We are looking forward to tempering our Constituent Voice methodology in the skilled pool of expertise among Social Value UK members.

About Social Value UK

Social Value UK is the national network for anyone interested in social value and social impact. We work with our members to increase the accounting, measuring and maximising of social value from the perspective of those affected by an organisation’s activities, through our Social Value Principles. We believe in a world where a broader definition of value will change decision making and ultimately decrease inequality and environmental degradation. To achieve our mission, Social Value UK provides training and assurance services, as well as hosting regular meetings and events, creating new tools and resources, and running campaigns. Through supporting and working with our members, and as a National Member Network of Social Value International, we are creating an international movement for change.
