Civil Society Lead Vacancy

Full Time, 12 Month Contract

Social Value UK is an organisation with big ambitions, and we’re looking to recruit a  Civil Society Lead to join our small team. This is an exciting new role for a dynamic individual who can help us achieve our strategic goal of working with VCSE organisations to develop better impact measurement and management for the sector

Social Value UK is the national network for anyone interested in social value and social impact and we work with our members to improve the accounting, measurement and management of social value. We believe in a world where value is not only defined in financial terms but also includes changes to people’s lives that are not captured in financial markets. We believe organisations should put the changes that people experience at the heart of their decision making.

Through supporting and working with our members, and as a Joint Member Network of Social Value International, Social Value UK is creating an international movement for change.

Location

This role is usually based in the Social Value UK office in Liverpool City Centre, however remote working is required due to COVID-19.

Hours

The successful applicant will be required to work 35 hours per week. Holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum excluding bank holidays plus public holidays.

This role is contracted for a 12 month period.

Salary

£27,000 – £30,000 (Scale 2:3)
